The goodwill player of the year election was held. Since these minutes will be made public before the actual election result is announced, the result will be in the next RABA board minutes. Jim Bridges reported on the upcoming RABA events. The open pairs will be October 7th, 2007. The Swiss teams will be 2/24/08. Both events will be at the GREEN LANTERN. Jim Bridges suggested our unit(unit112) look into moving to DISTRICT 5. Warren countered with "why not the Buffalo unit(unit116) move to our district?" Since it is not a RABA decision, but a unit decision and possibly an ACBL decision, nothing was decided. As a point of information, Lois reported the SYRACUSE regional had a profit of approximately $4000. This profit goes to the district. The next RABA board meeting will be at the GREEN LANTERN, October 7th, 2007 at 11AM(before our open pairs event. The only agenda item will be the election of RABA board officers. Warren move to adjourn - seconded by Jim Bridges - motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 2:55 PM. Respectfully submitted, Gerry Ride, Secretary
