Minutes of RABA Board meeting

March 18, 2008

The meeting was called to order at 6:46 PM by Michele.

Attending:  M. Griffin, W. Marsland, P. McFadden, D. Folwell, M. Spence, L. Meacham, S. Barocas, G. Ride.  Absent: A. Barnard, A. Booke, B. Rosenthal.

The minutes of the last meeting were approved.

The treasurer’s report was accepted.  Warren has bought three cases of new cards for the Duplimate machine.

The newsletter was discussed.

            Michele will edit it for now, with Margie and Sue prodding her.

            Marilyn Mulgrews will be asked to do some graphics.

            A personality column will feature good-will winners.

            Suzy Hill will be approached about doing a director’s column.

LM/NLM will be at regular games on Tuesday May 6, 2008.

Spring Sectional will be April 4-5-6, 2008 in Lakeville.  Chairpersons are Warren, Linda and Sue.

For old business, Warren will be redoing the Blue Books.  It was suggested that special games be put on the cover.

Award for 299 Swiss teams will presented at the occasion.

The next meeting will be August 16, 2008, at Dick Folwell's cottage on Honeoye Lake.  Dick will send out detailed directions.

The meeting was adjourned at7:45 PM.
