The meeting was called to order at 2:36 PM

Minutes of last meeting were approved (with corrections)

Treasurer's report was accepted.  Warren reported that the audit committee

met and approved the accounts.  Discussion followed as to how decisions were

to be made before any expenditures were made.  It was decided that all

expenditures will be approved by the chairperson or the board.

Alex Booke reported on the Newsletter.  He will have one out before Sept.

12, 2008, with the slate of board candidates and their pictures.  Warren and

Ed Reppert will help with the picture part of the newsletter.

Gerry Ride presented the slate of candidates for the board:

          Lois Sanders

          Dick Folwell

          Gerry Ride

          Peg Clark

          Barbara Bardeschewski

          Barbara McBride

          The new board will appoint a member to take Annette's place.

          The voting will be done as always with the winners announced on

Oct.12,

2008 at Lakeville.

Margie Spence reported on publicity and recommended the players be

encouraged to access the web site. Sue will take over publicity.

Sandy White's complaint was discussed.  The board is sympathetic and will

support her in any way.  The procedure is that Sandy must send a written

letter to Bruce Toder and Jim Bridges.

There was no old business.

Under new business there was a brief discussion of having a bulletin board

for notices.  Sue will look into this.

Next meeting will be Oct. 15, 2008 at 6:30 PM at Sue's house.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:00 PM
